On Thursday, June 29th members from the Commerce City Council participated in a beam raising ceremony for the new recreation center located at 112th and Potomac. After some words from Mayor Sean Ford and Mark Olesen (Pinkard Construction), members from City Council and Parks and Recreation staff, along with the design & construction teams were encouraged to sign the beam before it was lifted and installed into place.
