Project Angel Heart prepares and delivers individually appropriate, nutritious meals to community members coping with life-threatening illness. The goal was to design them a new facility that will eventually allow them to increase five-fold their service of delivering meals.
The project was an adaptive reuse of an existing 31,150 sq. ft. warehouse and cooler facility to a space for food production and distribution.
Upon entering the Main Lobby visitors encounter the proficiency of Project Angel Heart and realize the importance of their mission. The plan is organized to maximize the sense of activity within the building and ensure views into multiple spaces from significant areas especially the kitchen - the main focus of the organization. The new facility is professional with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
